MILTON, DE, JUNE 8, 2018 – Devil’s Party Press and The Suburban Farmhouse, both of Milton, recently partnered to celebrate the release of the publisher’s third literature anthology, EQUINOX. The book release event spanned two individual Friday evenings (June 15 and June 22) and was heralded as “Date Night at The Suburban Farmhouse.” EQUINOX anthology contributors read from their recent works in the restaurant’s main dining area. The June 15 line-up included Judith Speizer Crandell and David W. Dutton. Mr. Dutton, a lifelong resident of Milton, also read the preface to his forthcoming novel, ONE OF THE MADDING CROWD, scheduled to be published by DPP in fall 2018.

William Crandell and Carrie Sz Keane were among the authors who performed at the June 22 event. Both readings included an open mic session in which several local authors, including Tara Elliott, participated. Keyboardist Anne Browne and guitarist David Ara each provided musical accompaniment for the events, which included a book signing.

DPP and The Suburban Farmhouse are planning another joint venture in August for the release of the publisher’s fourth anthology, AURORA. The anthology, scheduled for a July 20 release, features cover artwork by Milton illustrator Aurelio Grisanty and literature and poetry contributions from local, national, and international authors, including Tara A. Elliott and Kari Ann Ebert. DPP is also seeking submissions for its fall crime anthology.
