Judith Speizer Crandell is an award-winning writer and teacher of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction.
She’s received residencies at Yaddo, AROHO (A Room of One’s Own), and a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowship for her novel, The Resurrection of Hundreds Feldman. She has performed readings at the New York State Writers Institute, the New York State Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Washington, DC, and Cleveland Public Libraries.
A journalist and Washington, DC, speechwriter for nearly twenty years, she moved to Milton, DE, in July to be near the ocean and write. Speizer Crandell’s work has appeared in the DPP anthologies SOLSTICE, EQUINOX, AURORA, and SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, available at Amazon and other booksellers. Her first novel with DPP, THE WOMAN PUZZLE, will publish in 2019.
